I was a legal secretary doing a part time law degree and legal accounts course via correspondence when illness struck again.  Now I volunteer for various charities these include MacMillan Cancer Support, Cancer Research UK promoting Relay for Life which is a 24 hour family event taking place all over the country.  
I love sailing and was given this opportunity by Sail4Cancer and have got hooked ever since my first trip in August 2007. 
I love helping others and that is what I spend most of my time doing whether it be through writing, talking to someone or just offering support.  I am a member of Wrekin Writers and have found wonderful support through that group.
