Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
I really don't think we knew what we were letting ourselves in for when we decided to embark on such a challenge as The Three Peaks and here I am with under a week to go and it's staring me right in the face!
The largest peak in Scotland, Ben Nevis awaits in all it's glory all 1344m of her. We plan to start our climb at 5pm on Saturday evening. Back in the mini bus by 10 we will then travel ( in sleeping bags) 240 miles to Scarfell Pike to embark on probably the most difficult of the three climbs 978m of mainly shail we are praying that it is dry as it could possibly be a very long arduous scramble for 3 hours. Our dedicated driver has promised bacon butties at the bottom of Scarfell on Sunday morning, A real treat and sure to spur us on to reach the bottom. On to Snowdon for the final part of out quest 1085m high. We plan to climb and descend all three peaks within the 24hours and accomplish our goal by returning to our mini bus for a bottle of bubbly(each) no later than 5pm on Sunday...........All on behalf of Myton Hospice. Thank you sooo much for your kind donation, I really appreciate your support. It means a huge amount to me and to Myton and it will really help at 4am on Sunday to know that you are behind me.
Thank you xx
