Sponsored Head Shave (I am having MY head shaved)

Hi I have set up this page as I am doing a sponsored Head Shave (I am having MY head shaved) to raise money for The Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust.

The reason I am raising money for this charity is that we go to The Donna Louise Children's Hospice (Treetops) with My son Kian due to the fact that he was born with a life-threatening Congenital Heart Defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) which means that he was born with 'half a heart'.

The reason that Kians heart defect is classed as life-threatening is that we never know what is around the corner, if he will survive the next open heart surgery or when he needs a heart transplant if he will get his and how long it will last.

When we go to Treetops it gives me chance to spend one-on-one time with my daughter Mia. I know that Kian is going to be ok while we are there as the staff are trained and would know what to do if anything happened.

Treetops allows ill children and their parents to build up good memories, the memories are precious and the parent will have them long after the child has passed.
