I am running 13.1 miles for the Sunshine Project of Luxor, Egypt.

My dad and I visited this charity when we were over in Egypt 9 years ago and have been helping to sponsor and support the charity ever since.

The Sunshine Project is a non-profit making charity which provides aid to orphaned and needy children in Luxor, Egypt, helping them to integrate back into socitety.

The Project offers "home, care, shelter, education, recreation and health facilities", with the vision that every child should be provided with "equal rights, equal care, equal love and equal opportunities from the moment they are born".

The Sunshine Project offers love and care and will be the family for as long as they are needed.
