Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.As most of you know I am once again, tackling the London Marathon on the 22nd April. To do it once is mad to do it twice is bonkers...but its too late now!
This year, I am running for the charity 'We are making a difference'. My Dad has been involved with the charity for many years and I had the opportunity to attend their ceremony in May when they handed out the funds they had raised that year. This charity is different in that the funds go direct to the families or organisations that need some help, without any overheads. It mainly benefits physically handicapped children, most of whom are terminally ill. Saxon Hill School in Lichfield received the sum of £5,000.00. My family has strong links with this school as my late Brother, Anthony went there.
Heath and I are fortunate enough to have two healthy boys so its nice to try and give something back to those who have not been as lucky-even if it does mean running 26.2 miles! So please, dig deep even the smallest donation will help.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Finally, there is a fundraising disco at St Matthews Sports and Social Club, Burntwood on 14th April with all of the funds going to the charity, £5.00 per ticket. So, get your dancing shoes on and I look forward to seeing you there!
