In 2008 we completed the 3 Peaks in 23hrs 44 mins for various charities.

Since then, my son, Tom, has been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. This is a horrible affliction for which there is, as yet, no confirmed cause or known cure.

Our team have decided to undertake another walk for charity on the 24th June this year. We are attempting to go one better and do the "4 Peaks" These are the four 3000 ft peaks in the Lake District in 24 hours again. That's 43 miles and 13,000 ft of ascent. Seemed like a good idea once, however we are determined to do it.

This time i am walking to raise money for the main Crohn's charity so that I can contribute in a small way to the challenge of finding a cure for Crohn's and improving the lives of thousands of people, including Tom.

Anything you can spare will make the blisters more bearable. Thank you
