The story so far in my own words, as written by Mark Hunter,
I have started as a volunteer at The Tropical Forest, Syon Park, Brentford, Middlesex TW8 8JF. The Tropical Forest is included in the grounds of Syon Park, and is a beautiful park;
including a stately home, with gardens, garden centre, a playground for children, trout fishery, cafe with good food, and includes a slow drive to the car park where all sites can be reached by walking.
During the hotter months an ice cream van is always parked in the car park.
After parking you will see the sign for the Tropical Forest, or known as The Tropical Zoo, the zoo is open 7 days a week 10am-5.30pm Monday - Sunday.
The zoo itself has many fascinating animals from taking parrots to lizards, snakes, spiders, roaming giant tortoises, marmosets, lemurs, fish, frogs, chinchillas, owls, and many more. Whats is amazing about this zoo is the chance to have an encounter, and to be able to touch snakes, lizards, and even crocodiles,
Or it is possible to sit in a lecture to have a informative talk with questions, and answers about many animals at the zoo. Also you must come, and seeing the wandering sloth a animal that seems so unreal except it is moving through the trees above you.
All donations to my page will be given to the Tropical Zoo,
The target for the tropical Zoo, is £350,000 to build a new sanctuary. Every donation, however small will be given to save our zoo, and the lives of rescued and endangered animals.
