Story

Right, so clearly I am not made for running, certainly not to complete a course which is 26.2 miles long.

However it's time to give something back. I am going to complete this task with one thing in mind - raising money for the following two charities - Shooting Star Children's Hospice and JHHHT.

Shooting Star Children's Hospice (details of which are to the left of this page) are the organisation who have enabled me to raise this money by giving me a place on their Marathon team and for that I am very grateful and hope that it is worth their while. www.shootingstar.org.uk

The Joshua Hayday Helping Hand Trust ("JHHHT") has been set up in memory of Joshua Hayday in order to help support families with children with life-limiting conditions. The aim of JHHHT is to assist projects that will provide real practical support to families, such as respite care, assistance with transport needs and equipment. www.joshuahaydaytrust.org

Please donate as much as possible for these fantastic charities - I shall not be doing anything like this ever again!!

I will not be looking to break any records on the marathon - Fortunately the chap in the deep sea diving suit will save my embarrassment of being the slowest ever but I will endevour to complete the thing!
