Story

I have joined a team to walk 30km over multiple peaks in the Lake District with 1875m of ascent in under 11 hours - so we won't be giving the Officer the map & compass! The weather last year was tricky, so we need to be prepared too! I haven't done anything like this since I was a serving soldier over 23 years ago - it could be interesting!

Walking with the Wounded provide support to veterans helping to transfer their skills into the civilian workplace. They off assistance to those vulnerable veterans who have been physically, mentally or socially disadvantaged by their service to assist them in sustaining their independence through new sustainable careers outside of the military. This includes providing support to homeless veterans and veterans in the Criminal Justice System, areas which are too often ignored.
