I am once again taking part in the Great South Run. This time, however, as grandparents commented they couldn't spot me amonst the crowds, I will be running with a green Macmillan flag strapped to my back.

I will be running to raise awareness of the charity - hoping that the wind resistance caused by the pennant attached won't slow me down too much - although some people may wish to support the work of the charity by pledging some money towards their fantastic work.
