Story
<p>Hi!</p>
<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p>
<p><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -24px;">I am running the London Marathon on 22nd April 2012 to raise money for the Hertfordshire Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre. I am hoping to raise over </span><strong style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -24px;">£1,500. </strong></p>
<p><strong style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -24px;"> </strong><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -24px;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Any</span> donation is greatly appreciated - big or small! </span></p>
<p><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font: 7.0pt &amp;quot;Times New Roman&amp;quot;;"> </span></span><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Multiple Sclerosis or MS is an <strong>incurable, unpredictable </strong>and<strong> debilitating</strong><em> </em>disease of the Nervous System; the causes of which are not fully understood. </span><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #090909;">The Hertfordshire MS Therapy Centre is based in Letchworth Garden City and offers therapies not only to people with Multiple Sclerosis, but also those including children with other Neurological conditions </span><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">such as; Ataxia, Autism, Muscular Dystrophy and Cerebral Palsy,</span><strong style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;"><span style="font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> </span></strong><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">across Hertfordshire and South Bedfordshire. </span><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">It costs the Centre <strong>£230,000</strong> a year to run and they get no regular funding from the Health Service, Government or any other statutory body. Their funds are provided by their own members, their fund raising efforts (which is not easy when the majority of the Centre members are disabled), and support from events such as the London Marathon.</span></p>
<p>Thanks!</p>
