On Saturday 17 September I will be running in the mini Great North Run with Bobbie & Gus.  We will be raising money for The Toby Henderson Trust. This picture is of us after last year’s race. It was really fun and we ran with a bucket collecting money for the charity. Toby Henderson is the best place in the world for playing.  My little sister Bobbie loves to go there and sometimes I go to see my friends, Will, Jack, Kieron & Archie. 

Last year I saw my mam and my teachers jump off the Tyne Bridge for The Toby Henderson Trust.  It was very exciting.  I can't wait to see my mam do it again.  She will be jumping off the Baltic and crossing the river Tyne.  If you want to come and see it, she will be jumping on the 2nd October at 1200.

Today we did the run.  I ran it on my own in 6 minutes 40 seconds.  Bobbie took a lot longer because she kept stopping and hugging people who were in costumes. I enjoyed the run and eating the snacks at the end.  I wore my medal and blanket after the race.
