Hey everyone,
As you are all probably aware, Steve (my dad) is recovering very well form cancer, and hopefully this nasty disease will not return.
But the reality of it all, is that there are many many people out there still suffering from it, and loosing their long had battles.
Dad received fantasic care and support from the amazing staff at Colchester Hospital University Trust, and they, like all hospitals, rely on donations, and numptys like me who decide to throw themselves out of a plane at over 10,000 ft to raise money!
Mum, Sam & Linda raised over £7,000 for race for Life last year, and now its my turn to do something, and raise some much needed money that will go direct to the hospital that looked after the only dad I have. It's my way of saying thank you.
The jump is taking place on Saturday 7th Novemeber at 9am, at Old Buckenham Airfield, Attleborough, Norfolk, NR17 1PU, those who wish to sponsor me (please dont feel you have too), my address is below and you can send donations to me, and i will deliver a cheque to the hospital when I have completed my jump. And anyone who wishes to come along on the day and bite their nails with me, you are more than welcome.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and can I just say thanks in advance to all those who make donations.
Matt
(and yes I'm nervous already)
