Hi there

I'm planning to run 310KM (or 192.5 miles in old money) throughout the month of May 2013, 10KM per day, in support of fitnaturally's chosen charity 'The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity’.

You can find out more about the Royal Marsden is such a great organisation by visiting the event’s website here http://everydayinmay.co.uk/royalmarsden

Why am I doing this? Well I’ve been affected by cancer myself, with my Grandad passing away in 1986 after a fight with the disease, the event has been set up for all the right reasons and it’s a simple case of just slipping my running shoes.

Although the challenge is only meant to be 310KM in total, I hope to run 337.56KM, which would be the equivalent of running 8 full marathons in distance within the month of May.

I have no idea how I am going to get sponsorship for this event but let’s set the bar high and go crazy, how about 500 donators each contributing £2 each, why not! ;)

So please throw a bit of cash my way via the donate button, I’ve got a feeling this particular challenge is going to harder than a full Ironman!

Cheers

Matt
