My story

Hello everyone!

I got a lovely pair of Asics Gel Neutral running shoes for Christmas. This has helped incentivise me to get fit – something I’ve been meaning to do for 6 years (since a long and fateful trip to the States where I discovered dream portion sizes and incredible new flavours). It turns out it's pretty difficult to run if you haven’t exercised since the 6th form (a good 10 years ago) but I am making good progress and enjoying the challenge.

To keep the training and momentum up, I have enrolled to run the Baldock Half Marathon on March 18th, known as the Baldock Beast, with a couple of good friends.

I'm very excited to be running to help raise some money for a charity close to my heart - The Karen Woo Foundation.

I can 96.23% guarantee I will finish the race without vomiting more than, say, 5 or 6 times but I am 100% guaranteeing I will finish. So please give generously and support this great cause.

Thanks so much in advance for all the support I know you will give me

Matt
