Hi Everyone!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and to learn about this wonderful cause. I love sport and it has played a very important part in my life for many years. I have recently become aware of the fact that there are so many children throughout the world who have never had the sporting opportunities that we that we all take for granted in our everyday lives.
'Right To Play' is a charity that works in 24 countries around the world making sure that children in underprivileged areas can experience real sport in their lives for the first time ever, touching 525,000 each week. 'Right to Play' is committed to improving the lives of children in the poorest countries in the world, regardless of gender, ethnicity or economic status. These children have been affected by poverty, war and disease and do not have most of the everyday sports equipment which we take for granted, such as balls, trainers and playing fields. In addition, without the support from 'Right to Play', they may never receive any form of sports training or benefit from learning the many life skills which sport teaches, including self-esteem, teamwork, leadership, fair play and respect.
To help raise awareness about the charity I will be competing in the Pulse3K race in Hyde Park on 11th October. It really means a lot to me to support this fantastic cause, so please make a donation and help me raise as much money as possible.
Chelsea Football Club Raffle!!!
With the help of Right To Play and Chelsea Football Club, I have also organized a very special raffle that everyone who makes a donation will be eligible to win. There will be two prizes drawn on November 21st, the first prize will be two tickets to the Chelsea/Fulham game at Stamford Bridge on December 28th and a Chelsea football signed by the team! The second prize will be a Chelsea shirt signed by members of the team. They are both amazing prizes!
