From March to June 2012, I am aiming to become one of the youngest British climbers to summit Mount Everest, for the Yell Everest 2012 Diamond Jubilee Expedition. After years of training, and a life time of dreaming, I hope to reach the top of the worlds highest mountain, and in doing so, raise money for children who are unable to access clean and safe water, the most simple and important of resources that every child in the world should have access to. I summited Baruntse on the 4th November 2011, and am now set to climb Everest in Spring 2012. I am aiming to raise £8848. This is the height of Everest in meters, a formidable challenge, which will translate directly into giving children around the world clean and safe water.
