On the 9th of march it will be the 1st anniversary of kirstys death who tradgically lost her life after a long battle with leukaemia. I wanted to do something to raise some much needed funds for leukaemia and lymphoma research, who are working tirelessly to find a cure for all forms of blood cancer. Im competeing in the dambuster duathalon, which begins with a 10k run, followed by a 42k bike, finishing with a 5k run. Its being a turbulant year to say the least but id like to complete this event, raise some money for a great cause and keep myself occupied by doing something positive on what will be an emotional day.
