Four of us decided to join the London Night Hike to help raise money for Maggie’s Cancer Care Centres, as we all know someone who has been affected by cancer. Maggies has care centres all over the country and provides help to those affected and their families, whatever stage they are at from just being diagnosed, or undergoing treatment, to post-treatment, recurrence, end of life or in bereavement.
We're not regular hikers – at best a quick power walk to the bus stop is the most we have managed before now. So 20 miles pounding the concrete streets of London will be a challenge to us. We have pledged not to give in and hop on a
