A Criminology graduate and part-time model, I am currently employed as a disability support worker. Making a difference for disadvantaged people means a lot to me. During my degree I did a lot of research on human trafficking in the UK and it was a subject that really captured my heart.
Hundreds of thousands of innocent, normal women (sometimes men) vanish from their homes and families every year and are forced into a barbaric existence characterised by prostitution, drug use and violence.
Sarah Forsyth from Newcastle suffered this hellish fate. She was coerced into sex trafficking when she accepted faux job working in a creche in Amsterdam. Her book, Slave Girl (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Slave-Girl-Sarah-Forsyth-Tate/dp/1844546853), is a very real and shocking portrayal of life in this dreary underworld.
I want to help victims like Sarah. I have organised a charity photoshoot to raise money for a leading human trafficking charity, STOP(UK).
The theme for this photoshoot is 'summer brights'. Clothes, props, sets, etc will be vibrant and bold or pale and airy to represent positivity and light at the end of the tunnel for trafficking victims.
I am confident this event will be a great success and I thank you all in advance for your participation and kind donations :D
