I am looking to raise money for an amazing charity called Opportunity International (OI). They are a pioneer and global leader in the provision of financial services and training to entrepreneurs below the poverty line in 28 countries across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and .

It gives some of the poorest people in the world access to the financial services they need to lift themselves out of poverty and develop their small businesses in a way that fosters economic, social and spiritual growth.

While charity can create dependence, (OI) helps people to achieve dignity and self-esteem by supporting their families through their own hard work.

I have committed to take part in a fire walk, so the idea is that you walk barefoot over a strip of hot wood embers, whilst still smiling! (If you have survived childbirth, it will be a mere breeze!) The event will take place on Thursday 28 January at football ground.

I have set a target of £250 and would really appreciate any donations that you would make towards this excellent cause.
