we sadly lost our dear friend we called "Mummy  Iris" to motor neurones desease Last July, and after attending her Mnd support groups with her and the support our mummy Iris was offered, I realised how amazing this charity is, and had to try and help raise awareness and funds since her diagnosis. 

This will be the most challenging event to date I will have undergone, balancing training, work and home life with a toddler...but nothing compares to the challenges for people affected with Mnd. 

This will be a small challenge in comparison, however not to be under estimated....with the current, a busy shipping lane, seaweed, sea life, the warm, inviting temperatures of the Solent sea....😬😬😬and trying to cross it....did I mention the busy shipping lane....eeeeeek!

I have given myself this challenge after hearing about and watching the swim last year and being truly inspired by the swimmers and kayakers. They swam for mummy Iris last year, and I will this year.
