<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><strong><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Congratulations to the cyclists involved in the Merseyrail Coast to Coast (East meets West) Charity Bike Ride which was completed on Sunday 18th September at 6.00 p.m. A tired but jubilant team rode into the grounds of Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital for a hero'</span></span></strong><strong><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">s welcome. </span></span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><strong><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">The cyclists had covered 500 miles in 4 days travelling through the Peak District, Lincoln, Skegness, Loughborough, Barmouth and finally back to Liverpool. </span></span></span></span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><strong><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">The Lord Mayor of Liverpool joined the cyclists for the leg of the journey, together with the Chief Executive of LHCH and four members of hospital staff.</span></span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><strong><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Praising the cyclists during a reception held at the hospital the Lord Mayor thanked Merseyrail and the cyclists for the challenge they had endured in order to raise funds for the hospital. </span></span></strong></p>
