On September 7, I will be taking part in my first Great North Run and hope to do so with having rasied over £200 for the Bobby Robson Foundation.

Having worked in the Freeman hospital, I have had the opportunity to see just how the Bobby Robson Foundation has had an impact on both cancer patients and the facilities available to them.The Foundation funds projects within the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that directly benefit cancer patients from across north east England and Cumbria – and which also contribute significantly to international research into the disease.

With your donation and support I believe I can surpass my target and help the Bobby Robson Foundation push forward in it's fight against cancer.
