Norwood - Rajasthan Bike Ride · 31 October 2009 ·

Norwood supports and empowers neurodiverse children, their families and people with neurodevelopmental disabilities to live their best lives.

Story

Well the ride is over !! My daughter Sarah & I completed the ride in full although much exhausted and in my case a stone lighter. It was an incredible and very emotional experience. I was full of admiration for the adults with learning disabilities who rode tandem.
I have much to thank Norwood for and the ride was dedicated to the memory of the support and care I received at a critical time in my life, particularly from the late Norwood principal Jack Wagman, and his wife Aileen (photos attached.)
Sarah & I are featured on the Norwood website link below.

As usual I added to the challenge by managing to fall off my bike which required a roadside elbow stitch - this and other photos enclosed.
P.S.If you are wondering who is the better cyclist - its Sarah !
P.P.S. This web site is open till end of January and if you didn't manage to donate before you can still give even though the ride is over !
