Hi, my name is Mike Wise, due to asphyxiation at birth, I suffer from Cerebral Palsy and the doctors gave me just hours to live. I defied the doctors and I have continued to defy the odds and over come countless obstacles and challenges throughout my 63-years.

I’m taking up The Chestnut Challenge by propelling my wheelchair with my feet 20-miles within 24-hours along Marine Parade in Worthing, starting at 8p.m. on Saturday, 1st May 2010.

To complete the Chestnut Challenge, I intend to push my wheelchair along the same one-mile route 10-times, a total distance of 20-miles.

Chestnut Tree House is such a peaceful and tranquil hospice and has the most dedicated and caring team of staff that provides love and support to children with life-limited illnesses and their families and siblings throughout the whole of . Chestnut Tree House deserves all the help and support from everyone, and that includes the support of the Governments.

Please sponsor me or take part in my Chestnut Challenge by completing one-mile with me.
