Dear friends and family of Michael,
At 22:18 hrs, on Wednesday the 9th June, Michael passed away in his sleep.
He was comfortable and well cared for in his final days and hours by a fantastic team of doctors and Nurses at the University College Hospital in London. He was with Friends and Family when he left us. My Sincere thanks to all of Michael friends ...and our family for the love, care and support shown.
Michael will be cremated at the Aldershot Crematorium on Thursday the 17th June at 3:30pm
We will all miss Michael he was truly loved by all who met him. His charm, humour love and whit will be missed.
In the last few weeks of Michael's life, he said that when get got better he wanted to go into schools and work with children, to help educate them on the dangers of drugs. Therefore, we are requesting that instead of buying flowers for the funeral, people make donations to 'Drugs Line'. Drugsline is an independent drugs crisis, information and support charity based in London. It provides free and confidential information and support for people with drugs and alcohol related issues, their families and friends.
A major part of their work in the community is their Outreach Education Programme for schools, which is unique to Drugsline. The programme educates young people about addiction, the consequences of drug use and how easy it is to be trapped by the attraction of experimenting with drugs. They are a small organisation, reliant upon donations to help them to continue doing the fantastic work they do in and around London. Therefore in memory of Michael's last wish, let's donate to this charity so that through Drugsline his wish can come true.
RIP Michael xx
