Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

We are hiking 26 miles to raise money for Alzheimer‘s society. This is one of the cruelest and most unforgiving illnesses and people affected require on going support. Like so many aggressive illnesses, sadly there is no cure. This is why providing a solid and consistent support framework is SO important. My beautiful granny Pauline Daphne Scott suffered from this and it was heartbreaking to see first hand. We would like to help and contribute in any way we can, helping to make this easier for families to deal with in the future.

Yaz is currently a nurse, and previously worked as a carer spending over 3 years on a dementia ward and knows all too well the devestating impact this condition can cause.
