We fund research and support to improve the lives of children with IBD

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My son Peter is just one of many children diagnosed with IBD (Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis) every year and the work of this charity will help him and many others like him. We don't know why children develop Crohns or Colitis but through reasearch there may be an answer in the future which is why we are raising as much as we can to support this amazing organisation.

Peter was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease on 4th January 2013 after a long period of illness. At the time of his diagnosis he was 8 years old and it had taken almost 2 years to finally discover what was making him so ill.  He is now on the road to recovery although will have to learn to live with his condition for the rest of his life.  He has been an inspiriation to us in the way he deals with this condition.

There are thousands of children like Peter in the UK and we are raising money to help this amazing organisation with their research into why children develop IBD conditions. Your donation will go a long way to helping families like ours to try and understand and cope with this dibilitating illness.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
