I'd just like to say a huge thankyou to everyone who has donated through the just giving website.  It meant a lot on the day of the run to know that I had so much support not just from friends and family but from those further afield too!  The race itself took me 58 minutes 58 seconds exactly so not only am I glad you've helped raise so much money but I managed it in under an hour!

Once again thankyou for taking time to make generous donations to a very good cause.

I have chosen to run 10k for the Sheffield Hospitals Charitable Trust; in particular the Sheffield Children's Hospital.  My cousin had a serious car crash not too long ago and without this hospital, our family would have struggled to find the right treatment for her extensive injuries.  As we are from Lincolnshire, we often have to rely on Sheffield Hospitals to provide treatment for specific operations and they happened to have the correct facilities for my cousin.  I am using this run as an opportunity to say thankyou to the hospital for helping her, giving support and making the traumatic experience easier for our family.  I hope that others can recognise their great work and support them as they continue to make such a difference to people's lives!  Thankyou.
