<p>My wife Nicola Pinks passed away on 20th January 2012. Nicola had a massive impact on me as a wife and a best friend. Because she was such a kind and selfless person Nicola cared very passionately about two charities. KAB with whom she had a very direct involvment, and Cancer Research for whom she often donated goods and raised money in their race for life events.</p>
<p>Simply, everyone will not need me to explain the value of the work done by Cancer Research, i lost my own mother to the horrors of cancer as a child many, many years ago. As for KAB, they to are an excellent charity helping Blind and Partially sighted people in the Kent area lead as independent a life as possible.</p>
<p>Through KAB Nicola helped run a group organising nights out and events for young Blind and Partially sighted folk in the area of Bromley. Two Summers ago she raised over £1000 with the aim of taking this group to sail a specially adapted tall ship in Southampton. I would dearly love to get that aim completed in Nicola's memory. <p>In Loving memory of a fantastic Wife, Daughter, sister, Niece, Friend, collegue and Noo Noo i'm asking people politely to donate anything they can to these two Charities.</p>
