Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Most of you will know that for the past 15 years or so, I've been walking with a group of people connected with the Probation Service [NAPSAC: http://www.napo.org.uk/resources/napsac2.cfm - National Association of Probation Sports Association Committee, I think]. The walks began 35 years ago when John Hunt, who led the 1953 Everest expedition, was the speaker at a Probation conference and he offered to lead willing volunteers on a charity walk in Snowdonia. Funds would be given to the Edridge Fund, the Probation Officers charity. Since then, we have continued to help the Edridge Fund by giving a small donation as part of the price we pay for each meeting. This October, we will be in the Brecon Beacons. In recognition of the continuation of NAPSAC for 35 years, we will again be asking to be sponsored for the Edridge Fund. Please see here for more details, What We Do: http://www.edridgefund.org/wedothis.htm.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
