we are raising money for gemini, a very worth while cause

all we need is £1000 not much money and all it takes is just a little bit of time and a little bit of your money!

if you kindly donate £10 or more to our cause then we will put your name on the car for free! be part of the history and dig deep!! you can donate as much or as little as you wish.

we have a 1985 mercedes hurse currently getting ready for its mot. soon after the work that is needed to be carried out we will be kitting it up ready for its 'little' trip across europe.

Our route:

Day 0 - (Getting to Brugge) It's up to you, but we think its worth getting to Bruges on Wednesday because (A) it's nice and (B) we'll be holding a pre-run get together that evening for all the Sucateers in a bar in the centre of town. Alternatively, you can get up early on Day 1 to be at the start line for the 10.00am send-off.

Day 1 - Thursday 27th May. Bruges to Strasbourg (Approx 550km: 6/7hrs) Get to the start line early if you want the opportunity to show off your banger, meet your fellow Sucateers and leave town in convoy. This is the longest day so we set off at 10.00am sharp so as to allow plenty of time for making our way across through Belgium, Luxembourg and France, before completing our first day driving in one of Europe's greatest seats of power.

Day 2- Friday 28th May. Strasbourg to Munich (Approx 375km: 4/5hrs). Being the thoughtful folks that we are, we follow the longest day's drive with the shortest and some cars should be able to zip across to Munich in just four hours (although you may want to visit the Alps). We highly recommend leaving early again though because Munich is a stunning city that is well worth spending the best part of the day in. It has beautiful parks and stunning architecture to marvel at while the sun is out whilst in the evening it has the world's most famous Beer Hall, the Hofbräuhaus where you can get a taste of traditional Bavarian culture by the litre.

Day 3 - Saturday 29th May. Munich to Ljubljana (Approx 450km: 4/5hrs) This day's driving is the most breathtaking of any Sucata route yet. Not long after heading out of the Bavarian capital, Munich, you'll hit Austria and the stunning Alps. You'll weave your way through the lush green mountains before hitting Slovenia where it is a MUST to take the 15min detour off the main road towards Lake Bled. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world so we recommend having a paddle. Once dried off, you'll head into the charming capital, Ljubljana, where you'll be meeting other Sucateers in riverside bar we've booked up.

Day 4 - Sunday 30th May. Ljubljana to Split (Approx 530km: 5/6hrs) The final day's drive is the second longest so it's an early start again in order to make it to the finish line in time. After 3 days on the road already the 500+ kms can feel a lot longer, however, the promise of a swim in the beautifual Adriatic Sea and the final party will bring you through. As you enter Croatia and make a beeline south you'll start to feel the heat as you wind your way up and down hillsides into Split. On arrival, the weekend's adventures conclude with a BBQ and prize giving ceremony... where a toast is raised to all those unfortunate souls that didn't quite make it!

we will be driving home too so that just under 3000 miles in total.

please be kind dig deep and help us out

thank you, love you long time
