My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many of you will already be aware of why I am raising money on behalf of The Parachute Regiment Charity, however for those of you that don't...

My cousin, Conrad Lewis, was killed in action in Afghanistan on 9th February 2011 whilst serving with 3 PARA at the age of 22. He was a true paratrooper, fiercely proud to be serving with the Regiment and to wear the maroon beret.

I will be forever proud of him.

His passing has left an immensely large hole in not just my life but in many many others and I cannot begin to describe how much I miss him already.

It is in honour and memory of Conrad that I want to raise money for this worthwhile cause. To raise money for the Para Charity I will be running the British 10K in July in London and will be following that with the 'PARAS 10' 10 mile event in September.

As you would expect, I really want to raise a bucket load of money so would really appreciate any money you can spare - large or small, penny or pound.

Please also forward this on to anybody who you feel would like to donate.

If anybody would like more information on why I am doing this or would like confirmation of anything before you donate then please email or call me - my details are below:

Many thanks in advance for your generosity.
