Miriam Hyman was so sadly taken from this life in the 7/7 bombings in London in 2005
I did not know Miriam personally but she was the little sister of my friend's close friend Esther. From all I have heard, Miriam was a wonderful person with an incredible spirit. I am so touched by her story and, strength of her family, and really wanted to do something to help the charity.
Her amazing sister ,Esther and her family have channelled their tragic loss so positively into running the MHMT.
The Miriam Hyman Memorial Trust raises money for the Miriam Hyman Childrens Eye Care Centre In India. At the moment they are raising money to purchase a Specular Microscope and all your sponsorship money will go directly to that. The Eye care centre aims to eliminate AVOIDABLE blindness in children.
It is an amazing cause and an honour to help

I am hoping to raise as much money as possible by cycling,along with Tobie Kerridge (who is riding for MIND), from London to Canterbury on 11th of september 2011....

The Childrens Trust is the main charity organiser for this particular event so registration money goes directly to them. But people can ride for any charity on the day and raise money separately via sponsorship for their chosen charity
