Certifiable. Nuts. Yep that's what we are. Mixed Nuts....a big old bag of them!

After having done this walk last year in a time of 25hrs and 43 minutes we know exactly how much it hurts, how many brownies we need to eat, the amazing powers of peanut butter and banana sandwiches, the toll it will take on our feet and just how AMAZING it feels to cross that finish line.

We were so proud to all finish as a team last year and, more importantly, raise over £3000 for Blind Veterans but at the same time absolutely gutted to have missed our target of 24hrs. And so we're back. This time we WILL finish under 24hrs and hopefully we'll be just as good at raising money again ;)

Blind Veterans UK is an amazing charity. They believe that no one who's served our country should battle blindness alone and are there to help with a lifetime's practical and emotional support, regardless of when people served or how they lost their sight.

The reason they are close to our hearts is they have helped a dear friend of ours, Simon Brown, rebuild his life. Si was shot by a sniper in Iraq and blinded. Blind Veterans were there when he needed them, helping him recover his independence and flourish. Si is now an ambassador for Blind Veterans as well as working for them full time. His story and friendship has inspired us to do as much as possible to help them help others.

Every penny that is donated goes directly to Blind Veterans and is very much appreciated. Knowing that we have such amazing support from our friends and family is what got us across the finish line last year and will do the same this time around just in a quicker time so thank you so very very much! We know money is tight and really do appreciate anything you are able to donate.
