Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm not good on a bike! "Thats no excuse we'll do it on a Tandem", says Dave. The plan was hatched - IOW to Lands End, LE-JOG, and back to the IOW via the East Coast (well we needed to get to Lands End & home from JOG somehow)
We start Wed 16th May from IOW & Sun 20th May from Lands End(May even see the Olympic Torch).

Tue 19th - We're home. Luke was delighted to see us. 2,229miles, 5weeks, 2rest days & no punctures! A truly amazing adventure. Many thanks to everybody's enthusiastic comments and generosity.

Mon 18th - Over the M25, & follow the A29, thro Billingshurst, Pulborough, a Severe climb to the top of the South Downs. At 40mph down the other side soon saw days end at Arundel. 74mile day/2184total.

Mon 18th-Our adventure is nearly over. Leave Jenny, Allan, Mr B at Bexleyheath & head back towards London, 10miles of the South Circular requires a determined approach! A welcome mug of tea with Diabetes UK staff at Epsom, and then on to spend lunch time with Eva, also at Epsom.

Sun 17-Having cycled over 2,000mls from S - N and nearly back again we can say that we live in an amazing country, people, scenery & architecture. London-no exception, Tower Bridge, The Mall, Buckingham Palace, & thousands of people. Days end Bexleyheath with Jenny, Allan & Mr.B.

Sat 16th-Left Simon & Aimee's at Colchester 9:45 and headed towards London. An exhausting day followed, 59miles into gale force winds, avoiding the busier roads - like the M25! Seeing interesting places like Maldon, Bicknacre, and Upminster. 17:00 Days end at Ilford.
