Story
On 24th April we will be running the
London Marathon for St Francis Hospice.
St Francis Hospice are an independent Essex-based charity providing palliative care to people with life-limiting illnesses, as well as support for their family and carers. They were a huge support to our family and provided excellent care for our Uncle Eamonn back in 2001.
Now that we are old enough (and hopefully fit enough!) we felt it was about time we did some fundraising of our own to try and make some kind of contribution to the £7.3million the hospice need this year to continue to provide their service.
Those of you who know us well will know that we have never been the athletic type, so the 26.2 miles is a huge challenge for us both. Any donation you can spare would go a huge way in helping St Francis Hospice and spurring us on to continue running (and running and running).
Thanks,
Molly & Evie
