Between 10th and 13th June, I will be cycling  along the Atlantic coast, up to the tip of Gironde Penninsular and through the pine forests of Les Landes - a total of 160km in just two days to raise much needed funds for Kids Company.

Kids Company was established by Camila Batmanghelidjh in 1996. We provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children and young people. Many of the 14,000 children we support have experienced severe and multiple trauma. Often these are ‘lone children’ living in chronic deprivation, with little or no support from the adults in their family.

We support these incredibly courageous children and young people by offering a safe, caring, family environment. We deliver services in 38 inner-city schools, two street-level centres, an early intervention therapy house and an over 16s educational academy. In 2007 Kids Company was awarded the and Justice Human Rights Award.
