After a bit of dodgy weather, Friday 18th December was the actual date of my 'For One Day Only' sponsored busk round Cumbria. It took 11 and a half hours to do the full 170 mile circuit, togged up to the hilt with many layers to combat the cold.
The places visited were: Ulverston, Kendal, Penrith, Keswick and Cockermouth, with 40 minute busk in each, apart from an abridged slot in Cockermouth due to Main Street being deserted due to the post-flood clean up. In all I made £22.89 on the actual busk sessions, which will be added to the sponsorship total.
