We at CARE International, fight poverty to help the world’s most vulnerable people.

Story

Four ladies at Fujitsu are joining forces on the 3rd September to complete a trail challenge in Staffordshire covering a marathon distance of 16K running, 24K cycling and 1K...in a canoe.

We're all raising money for Care International, a fantastic charity supporting disaster and emergency relief, programmes to educate people on growing food, preventing HIV and aids and working to bring medicine and fresh water to some of the world's poorest people. They look at long-term change rather than short-term impact and work in countries for many years to develop a strong understanding of the local context and help re-build communities when disaster has struck.

We are raising a lot of money and every penny counts - thank you for your support.

About the charity

CARE International is one of the world’s leading aid agencies working in over 80 countries around the globe. We seek a world of hope, tolerance and social justice, with women and girls at the centre, where poverty has been overcome, and people live with equal opportunities in security and dignity.
