Help raise awareness of the Anthony Nolan bone marrow register - and "win" a Mumsnet blanket
Fundraising for Anthony Nolan
Help Anthony Nolan raise awareness of the bone marrow register - and you could win a "money can't buy" one-off Mumsnetter blanket |
---|
We'd love you to donate whatever you can to help Anthony Nolan with their fabulous work matching people who are willing to donate their blood stem cells to people who desperately need lifesaving transplants.
As part of this fundraising effort, we're giving away a Mumsnet blanket – made up of squares other Mumsnetters have beautifully made - in the name of Aillidh Kinnaird. Aillidh, who's eight years old and a Mumsnetter's daughter, has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, and urgently needs a stem cell/bone marrow transplant. The blanket will be given to one Mumsnetter, chosen at random, from this Mumsnet Talk thread (donation not at all necessary to win the blanket but obviously much preferred). As well as giving what you can, please consider signing up for your country's bone marrow registry - and sharing this information with anyone and everyone who may be interested in signing up, too.
