On 31 January 2010 Sarah and Peter, joined by Adrian, Jez and Will, risked life and limb to raise money for St. Leonard's Hospice in York. The limb risking was undertaken in memory of Sarah and Peter's Mum, Judy Murty, who passed away at the Hospice in August 2009 after losing the battle against bowel cancer. We wanted to help raise money for the Hospice so that they can continue to give amazing help and support to people (and to their families) at the end of their lives.
So, the limb risking of all involved took place at "Tough Guy" on 31 January 2010 - an impossible 8 mile assault course consisting of giant obstacles made extra painful with the addition of snow, sleet, an inch and a half of ice on the water features and 3 and a half hours of cold pain (and no doubt several days of warm pain). Check out the photos on this page (up and left) and on facebook.
