We had been looking for a charity for My Kids Can to support when we were told about a Hospice in Liverpool called Zoe's place: One look at their website and I knew that this was the charity to support. Wanting to do things a bit differently we decided that two of us instead of running the usual marathon, would run 190(ish) miles coast to coast across the north of England in 7 days. Zoë’s Place offers palliative respite and terminal care for children up to the age of 5 years with complex and life limiting illnesses. Our team of trained Children’s Nurses, Senior Care Assistants, NNEB’s and Care Assistants provide 24 hour one to one care in a home from home environment.
