My story
it's almost the BIG DAY!!!!! George and I did a run to Glasgow and had a look at the site where it will all happen. We took loads of pictures but I don't seem to be able to upload them .. sorry! I'll keep trying :) Photos added!!!!
The generosity of our family and friends has been amazing. I've decided, though, that there's just a little bit more to be collected so I challenge myself to raise £1500!!! Can I do it????
Wow!!!!! Apple Tree Nursery raised a whopping £300!!!! George and I have split it between us, so £150 has been added to my total. This just keeps getting better and better!! Thank you to all the children, parents and staff for a brilliant day!
Staff and children at Apple Tree Nursery held a "Bake for Love" Day last week to raise funds for our venture! It was a fantastic success .. total raised to follow once all the pennies are counted! For those who don't know me, I was manager at Apple Tree Nursery for 8 years before I retired and it holds a dear place in my heart. Thank you Lesley-Anee and all the staff!!
I can't believe I've reached my target of £1000!!!!!! Thank you so much to everyone who's helped me get there. I feel I owe it to all of you to keep striving for more ... so I've increased my target to £1200 !!!!!!!! Up Up and Awayyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!
