Team West consists of 6 work colleagues who signed up for Trek Fest through our Community Link-Up at Connect Group PLC. We are all part of the Sales Team for Education. 

Trekfest is a challenging walk over the stunning Brecon Beacons in South Wales and will certainly be testing our physical endurance and stamina. We are doing 27 Miles in 12 Hours !!!!!

We have chosen Hope House Children's Hospices based in Oswestry ,Shropshire. This is local to our West Mercia Supplies head office and a colleague at WMS lost his beautiful grandson Isaac in 2013 at only 18 months old, very close to Christmas. The Hospice provided much needed care for Isaac in the Cancer Unit and support for the family from diagnosis, throughout the very short  lifetime of  Isaac and beyond. The care goes out to any families who have lost a child in whatever circumstances.

Every penny we raise for HOPE HOUSE CHILDREN'S HOSPICES really counts. For instance £125 ensures that a specially trained children's nurse can help a family look after their child in their own home in their final hours. £250 means we can arrange a day out to remember for a child with complex health needs and their family. The family will be accompanied by specialist nurses so that the whole family can enjoy a trip that many of us would take for granted. £750 will cover the cost of 20 sessions with a child bereavement team working with staff and pupils at a local school when a fellow pupil has suddenly died.
