I MADE IT!! I reached the top of Mount Snowdon! If you would stil like to donate, your generosity is most welcome.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My original target was £200 but I think we can raise much more and so it's been set higher to £2550 - that's only £1 for every foot climbed of Mount Snowdon. The more money raised, the more people we can help. If I hit this target, I want to keep going and raise even more, with your help!
I am climbing Mount Snowdon on Saturday Septermber 10th 2011 to help the millions who have been affected by the drought in East Africa. It's a 2550ft climb to get to the top of the tallest mountain in England and Wales. A £1000 can help a lot of families with food and water for a month; £2000 can also provide shelter, hygiene kits, medical kits for many people etc. So please sponsor me on this climb. It will take hours and will be hard but I WILL reach the top. YOU can help me make a difference in East Africa by sponsoring me today. Over 11 million people are affected by the famine in East Africa – the worst drought in 60 years in the region. Families, women and children (often barefoot) are crossing scorched land, to the borders of Kenya and Ethiopia, they are looking for help in the refugee camps – not everyone survives the journey. One third of the children are malnourished. We all need to do something to help.
