Breast Cancer touched my life, lets not let it touch to many more
Many years ago I worked with a lovely woman Viv her zest for life was lovely she was a rock during many hard times I had, I loved her as a friend so very much. She discovered a lump, her battle began, sadly Viv lost her battle after time. I was living in Australia when I heard the news.
A dear friend of mine threw a birthday party for her son, her son and my daughter are the same age. while at the party I met a lovely woman named Rebekah. she is my friends brothers girlfriend fighting the biggest battle against breast cancer. I heard her journey through my friend. Upon meeting her I was bowled over by her enthusiasn for life, for celebrating and being in the moment. She litterly change my views on "my bad days" She is winning this battle!
I will be running/plodding or gasping for breath in honour of these women who have touched my life.
