Tash's Task:

I'll be running the London Marathon in April 2010, and of course I'll be training hard until then.

Why? Redress!

Redress are a charity working to secure justice for the survivors of torture and to ensure that this inhuman practice is stopped across the world.

One of the great things about Redress is that they're working at every possible level to secure fundamental human rights.

Redress was set up by a survivor of torture and works to secure compensation for the suffering it inflicts on all its victims as well as basic medical and legal assistance. Redress also work to secure legal reform to end the use of torture across the globe - a hugely important task given the deepening insecurity surrounding terrorism.
Redress are working to put in place and defend prohibitions on the use of torture at a national and international level.

Redress' work touches individuals, families, communities, nations, and the global community. That's why I'm totally committed to this charity and am asking you to help me support them.
