Story

So I've given in to peer pressure and the temptation of a free T-shirt to run 10k for Ostomy Lifestyle. With so many amazing people running, walking and cycling for Ostomy Lifestyle at the moment it's about time I joined in!

It's several years since I last did a sponsored event, and some time since I ran any great distance, so I've got a lot of training to do...

My target: We have recently kicked off a national project funded by the Big Lottery Fund, providing workshops for people to better understand their surgery and feel more confident after having a stoma. I would like to raise enough sponsorship to purchase sound equipment so that people with hearing impairments are not excluded.

There are ten of us doing this event for the charity, and this is a great excuse to donate. If you don't know what they do check out the website and these videos

Underwear & Swimwear Show

OstomyAid & Mercy
